These terms and conditions govern your use of the Monex International website and online currency ordering service operated by Monex International Limited(registered in England and Wales), a subsidiary of Spot On Money Limited.
When you place an order through our website, you are requesting to purchase foreign currency at the exchange rate displayed at the time of order. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
Exchange rates are indicative and may fluctuate. Your rate is locked at the time of order confirmation for a period of 48 hours. If payment is not received within this period, the order may be cancelled or repriced at the prevailing rate.
Payment must be made via bank transfer to our designated bank account using the unique payment reference provided. We do not accept cash payments for online orders. Your order will be processed once payment has been received and verified.
Currency must be collected from the branch selected during the order process. You must bring a valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) when collecting your order. Orders not collected within 7 days of payment confirmation may be subject to cancellation.
Orders may be cancelled before payment is made at no cost. Once payment has been received and the currency has been prepared, cancellations may be subject to exchange rate differences. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days.
In accordance with anti-money laundering regulations, we are required to verify the identity of all customers. You must present valid photo identification when collecting your currency. For transactions exceeding certain thresholds, additional documentation may be required.
Monex International Limited is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under Firm Reference Number FRN-510848 as a Small Payment Institution. We are also registered with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) under registration number 12161278 for money laundering supervision.
We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation including the UK GDPR. Personal information provided during the order process is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order, regulatory compliance, and communicating with you about your order. We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law.
While we endeavour to provide accurate exchange rates and timely service, we shall not be liable for any losses arising from exchange rate fluctuations after rate lock expiry, delays in bank transfer processing, or circumstances beyond our control.
